Keanu Reeves carried out “research” on Shadow for SONIC 3 to create a “faithful version” of the character

Keanu Reeves voices the character of Shadow Sonic the Hedgehog 3 and wanted to make sure his contribution to the role was true to the character.

Director Jeff Fowler praised Shadow the Hedgehog actor Keanu Reeves on Twitch, saying, “It’s great that we had Keanu Reeves to voice the character and he was great to work with.”

“He thinks the character is fantastic and definitely understood what we were looking for and was very excited to make his version of it. Like all the cast, [he] he really wants to do it well and he really cares.”

Speaking about Reeves’ performance, Powler said, “He was giving us so many different versions of line readings and he just wanted to keep going. It wasn’t kind of like showing up and reading the script into a microphone.”

He went on to talk about the actor’s dedication to the role, saying, “He really wanted to create a version of the character that was very true to the fans. He did some research.

“During our first meeting, he was clearly off doing his homework, which was great. I can’t say enough wonderful things about Keanu and what he brought to the character and the experience of making this film. I think people are going to really, really love his version of Shadow.”

I enjoyed the Sonic movie franchise and it looks like the next movie will bring another fun adventure to audiences!

In the film, Sonic and his team find themselves facing off against Shadow, and he quickly proves to be too powerful to defeat. So, to stop him, they are forced to ask for the help of Jim Carreyis the evil Dr. Robotnik.

Ben Schwartz he’s back as Sonic and includes the rest of the cast as well James Marsden as Tom Wachowski, Tika Sumpter as Maddie Wachowski and Lee Majdoub as Agent Stone.

Furthermore, Colleen O’Shaughnessey vocals Miles “Tails” Prower, e Idris Elba Knuckles the Echidna voices.

Sonic the Hedgehog 3 will premiere in theaters on December 20.
