Here’s the trailer for Prime Video’s live action series adaptation of the idol murder mystery anime Oshi no Ko. This is a unique concept and looks like it will make a good movie with wild energy.
The anime was created by or Akasaka AND Mengo Yokoyori and in the story, after an obsessed fan of idol star Ai Hoshino kills the doctor who gave birth to his twins, he – and another patient – are reborn as Ai’s children, Aqua and Ruby.
Aquamarine and Ruby are reincarnations of people from her past life, Aquamarine is a doctor who adored Ai and Ruby is a terminally ill girl who was a devoted fan. After Ai is killed by a stalker, her children grow up determined to uncover the mystery behind her death.
The cast also includes former Nogizaka member 46 Asuka Saito as Ai Hoshino and former member of =LOVE Nagisa Saito as Ruby Hoshino.
A sequel feature film will also be released in Japan on December 20th. Then a third season of the anime was also recently announced. Check out the trailer below.
