The new project SCARY FILM moves forward with Wayans Bros.

THE Scary movie the franchise will live on with a new film project and has been confirmed Marlon Wayans, Shawn WayansAND Keenen Ivory Wayans will come back to develop it.

Horror-comedy films are known for their wild parodies of popular horror, thriller, and supernatural films. The first installment debuted in 2000 and each film in the series satirizes iconic films such as Cry, The exorcist, The RingAND Sawmixing slapstick humor with over-the-top, exaggerated scares.

The films are full of pop culture references and absurd humor, and poke fun at horror clichés, often featuring bumbling characters who find themselves in ridiculous horror-inspired situations.

Miramax head Jonathan Glickmann said in a statement: “We are thrilled to reunite Scary Movie with the Wayans brothers, the brilliant creators behind the beloved franchise.

“The timing is perfect to bring the series back to the big screen and we are fortunate to have the unique comedic vision of Keenen, Marlon and Shawn bringing it to audiences around the world.”

Marlon, Shawn AND Keenen Wayans added: “We couldn’t be more excited to be part of the new Scary Movie and to work together again. This is a franchise we created more than 20 years ago.

“We remember the people laughing in the hallways and hope this happens again. We look forward to working with Jonathan Glickman and his team at the new Miramax to bring these laughs to theaters, where they belong. It’s a double meeting.”

There are many new horror films to parody in new ways Scary movie movie, and I’m sure it will end up providing entertaining entertainment to the audience.
