Samuel Goldwyn Films has released the trailer for the upcoming film The last riflemanwhat stars Pierce Brosnan as a World War II veteran who embarks on an inspirational journey to Normandy in France.
The film follows Artie Crawford (Brosnan), “a Northern Irish World War II veteran who, on the 75th anniversary of the Normandy landings, decides to secretly escape from his nursing home and embarks on an arduous but inspiring journey across Ireland and the United Kingdom. across France, to pay his last respects to his best friend and find the courage to face the ghosts of his past.
This looks like a wonderful film that tells a moving and powerful story about honoring our veterans.
The film was directed by Terry Loane and also stars Clemence Poetry, John Amos, Jürgen Prochnow, Claire RaffertyAND Desmond Eastwood.
Goldwyn Films will release theatrically The last rifleman in select US theaters and on VOD on November 8, 2024.
