Darth Plagueis was teased at the end of the first season Star Wars: The Acolyte and there were plans to explore his story in future seasons. But those plans were cut short after Disney canceled the show.
We’ve only gotten an early look at Darth Plagueis in the series, but today we have some concept art to share that gives us the best look at the character’s full design.
Artist Saby Menyhei took to social media to share some of the concept art she created for Plagueis. They include a clearer look at Muun’s head along with a full-body shot where he’s dressed in more luxurious Sith clothing.
When it comes to character design, showrunner Leslye Promontory said: “Obviously the species was determined, if not by [Star Wars] canonical, then from Legends and definitely for head-canon for everyone.
“So when we were designing it and talking about its look, it was a lot Crimson Peakby Guillermo del Toro.”
Check out the designs and let us know what you think!
