Netflix has released a trailer for another of its silly Hallmark-style Christmas movies. This is titled Freezing heatand in the story we see a sexy snowman magically brought to life.
Movie stars Lacey Chabert (Bad girls) as a widow named Kathy who brings the snowman to life. The snowman is played by Schitt’s Creek’S Dustin Milligan.
“Through his naivety, the snowman helps Kathy laugh, feel, and love again, as the two fall in love just in time for the holidays…and before he melts.”
Yes, this is where Christmas movies are going and the audience for these types of Christmas movies is huge, so I have no doubt that it will be a big hit for Netflix.
The trailer also includes a little nod to Bad girls where Chabert’s character is shown watching Lindsay Lohan’s 2023 Netflix holiday movie Falling for Christmas. She jokes: “It’s so funny. She looks just like a girl I went to high school with.
The film is also the protagonist Joe Lo Truglio AND Craig Robinson like a couple of police officers, together with Katy Mixon Greer, Lauren Holly, Chrishell Stause, Sherry Miller, Dan Lett, Matteo Stefiuk, Helene Lohan Cameron, Allan Reale, Sarah Desouza-Coelho AND Bobby Daniels.
Jerry Ciccoritti he directed the film from a screenplay written by Russell Hainline. Freezing heat arrives on Netflix on November 13th.
