A new image from STAR WARS: SKELETON CREW teases the connection with AHSOKA

We have a new image to share with you for Lucasfilm’s upcoming release Star Wars: The Skeleton Crew and seems to have an interesting connection to Ahsoka.

The image was shared by Empire and shows Jude Law’s Jedi character Jod Na Nawood in a cave with some sort of mysterious writing etched into the wall.

The writing resembles the runes and glyphs seen repeatedly in Ahsoka. A connection between the shows would have been really surprising given that Skeleton Crew is set in the same era as Ahsoka and The Mandalorian.

The series has been described as “a galactic take on the classic Amblin coming-of-age adventure films of the 1980s”.

Skeleton Crew follows the journey of four boys “who make a mysterious discovery on their seemingly safe home planet, then become lost in a strange and dangerous galaxy, encountering the likes of Jod Na Nawood, the mysterious character played by Law.

“Finding their way home and encountering unlikely allies and enemies will be an adventure greater than they ever imagined.”

The series was initially pitched to Lucasfilm as “The Goonies In Star Wars,” and was created by Jon Watts (Spider-Man). The series is also the protagonist Ravi Cabot-Conyers, Kyriana Kratter, Robert Timothy SmithAND Ryan Kiera Armstrong. Nick Frost he also stars in the series as a droid.

The episodes of the show will be directed by Bryce Dallas Howard, The Daniels, David Lowery, Jake SchreierAND Lee Isaac Chung. The Mandalorian’S Jon Favreau AND Dave Filoni will be the executive producer.

The film will arrive streaming on Disney+ on December 3, 2024, with the first two episodes. Check out the new trailer below.
