Shudder has released the trailer for a new horror thriller titled Black taxiwhat stars Nick Frost AND Synnove Karlsen. It looks like a creepy and fun horror movie.
The story follows a couple whose night takes a sinister turn when their chatty taxi driver refuses to drive them home. Trapped in the taxi, they are taken to a desolate, haunted road with no escape route.
The synopsis reads: “When Anne (Karlsen) and Patrick (Luke Norris) they call a black cab after a night out, their driver (Frost) is chatty, even jovial, but they don’t feel like talking. In fact, the couple barely speaks to each other.
“That is, until they realize the driver has no intention of taking them home. Locked in the taxi with no escape route, the driver transports the couple to a deserted and presumably haunted stretch of road.
“But what is its purpose? Is he crazy or just evil? And why did he choose Anne and Patrick as his victims?”
The film was directed by Bruce Goodison (Our world war, House fires, Doctor FosterAND Murdered by my father).
The film will be released on Shudder on November 8th.
