Scarlett Johansson says she wishes BLACK WIDOW could have explored her time with Hawkeye

Actress Scarlett Johansson she kicked off her Marvel debut in 2010, when we first saw her Iron Man 2. She was officially named a member of the team two years later in the first Avengers movie, and we saw his story come to an end Avengers: Endgame in 2019.

But his story was revisited when we went back in time Black Widowand we got to see her origin story, starting with her upbringing, her family, and filling in the gaps of what happened to Natasha after the events of Captain America: Civil War.

Some fans hoped that we would see the story of Hawkeye and Black Widow’s infamous missions in Budapest play out, as was hinted at in the Avengers meetings, but it was never really told.

Johansson recently revealed that she was hoping to see him too. When you talk to MTV UK (via CBM) on the release of his recent hit animated film, Transformers OneJohansson admitted that she too would have liked to explore more of Black Widow and Hawkeye’s shared past.

“I probably would have gone further back into Black Widow’s history. I would have liked to see Hawkeye, Black Widow and some stuff like that. See the early parts of her life [not that origin].”

Unfortunately, though, the time to tell that story has probably passed Avengers: Judgment Day AND Avengers: Secret Wars at least open the door to a possible reunion between Johansson and the Hawkeye actor Jeremy Renner.
