Director James Gunn has shared a new cryptic photo from its upcoming second season of Peacemaker season 2. In her social media post, she posted the photo with the description, “Who could this be? #Peacemaker.”
Gunn revealed a shirtless character with his back to the camera, in front of a campfire. The general consensus among fans seems to be, judging by his hair and muscular body, that the season 2 character is none other than Savant.
Savant, created by Gail Simone AND Ed Beneshe made his comics debut in issue #56 of Birds of prey in 2003. He made his live-action debut The suicide squadwhere he was played by Michael Rooker. Since Peacemaker is, in fact, a spin-off of The suicide squadIt doesn’t seem far-fetched that we could see him return to the series.
Peacemaker season 2 doesn’t have a release date yet, but Gunn said it will come out later Supermanwhich will arrive next summer on July 11th.
