Scary stories to tell in the dark director André Øvredal is set to direct a new untitled horror project at Paramount Pictures.
The film is produced by the former Warner Bros. production executive Walter Hamada as part of his first-look deal with the studio along with Gary Daubermann that he worked on The evocation films and more recently directed Salem’s Lot.
The screenplay was written by Zachary Donohue AND TW Burgess and there are no details to share regarding what the story entails.
Øvredal also directed the films Mortal and that of Amblin The last voyage of the Demeter. He’s made some fun horror films and it will be interesting to see what his next project is.
