Netflix has released the trailer for a time travel slasher horror film titled Cutting timeand comes with the slogan: “To stop this killer, they will have to rewrite history.”
Cutting time follows a teenager who travels back to the early 2000s to stop a vicious killer from killing her sister.
The synopsis reads: “’Can you change the past without destroying the future?’ When Lucy Field (Madison Bailey) discovers a time machine – just another day in the life of a high school science whiz – and decides to go back and prevent the crime that has haunted his young life: the murder of his older sister Summer (Antonia Gentry).
“Will he be able to survive the early 2000s and unmask the killer? Or will he say “Bye bye bye”… to his life?!? Only time will tell.”
It seems similar to the other time travel horror movie, Capriciouswhich featured a similar plot. The film was directed by Hannah Macpherson (Nursing home AND T@gged).
