Melissa Barrara (Cry), Sinclair Daniele (The other black girl), Brian d’Arcy James (Reflector), Mark O’Brien (City on a hill) AND Kathleen Chalfant (Spirit) will be the protagonists James Wan AND Simu Liu’s Untitled thriller series set at Peacock.
The series is described as a spy techno-thriller and the story is “set five minutes in the future, when first-generation American intelligence analyst Alexander Hale (Liu) realizes that his brain has been hacked, giving authors have access to everything they see and hear.” .
“Caught between his shadowy agency and unknown hackers, he must maintain a 24/7 performance to ferret out who is responsible and prove where his allegiance lies.”
Barrera will take on the role of Michelle, a deceptive character who will leave everyone perplexed, and Daniel will play Parker, an intelligence officer who is drawn into a new world that he must quickly understand.
James will play John Moira, a leader and mentor who isn’t afraid to make tough decisions; O’Brien will play Cobb, an ambitious Secret Service agent; and Chalfant will play St. George, a quiet leader focused on the long game.
The series was created by Thomas Brandon (Inheritance), and is also a writer and executive producer of the project along with the co-showrunner and EP Jennifer Yale (You see, Stranger).
pale (The Universe of Summoning, M3GAN) is an executive producer of the series along with Michele Chiara (Archive 81, M3GAN) AND Rob Hackett (Archive 81, I know what you did last summer).
Barrera will next be seen in the upcoming creature romantic comedy Your monster.
