Tobin Bell confirmed that he will return to the role of John Kramer in Lionsgate I saw XI. I saw X director Kevin Greutert he will also return to the franchise to direct the sequel.
During an interview with the LA Times, Bell said, “I’m really excited to continue developing it. John Kramer isn’t done. There’s more to learn.”
The eleventh film in the horror series was revealed with an Instagram post, simply captioned: “The game continues.”
No details about the film have been revealed, but I liked the story I saw X which told an interesting story set between the events of the first and second Saw movie.
I saw X follows John Kramer as he travels to Mexico for a risky and experimental surgery in hopes of curing his terminal cancer. But the whole thing turns out to be a scam, and so he embarks on a bloody mission of revenge.
It will be interesting to see how the next film manages to continue expanding John Kramer’s story.
I saw XI will be released on September 26, 2025.
