Professional wrestler Maxwell Jacob Friedman (The Iron Claw), aka MJF, from AEW has joined the Netflix cast Happy Gilmore 2.
Friedman will join Adam Sandler how happy, Julie Bowen in the role of Virginia Venit, e Christopher McDonald as marksman McGavin.
Sandler also teased that Travis Kelce will be on board for a cameo alongside Bad Bunny, with production now underway.
Kyle Newacheck (Murder mystery) is directing the sequel from a screenplay by Sandler and Tim Herlihy. There are no details yet on the film’s plot.
Sandler previously spoke about the film, saying, “We’re going to do it Happy GilmoreThank you. This is happening. We’re getting ready to shoot it in New Jersey. We’ll start in a couple of weeks.
“It’s good. We worked hard on the script. We didn’t want to disappoint anyone. People have been asking me for this for a long time. We’re really excited about it. We’ve cleared our asses. A lot of golfers do well and will be a part of it.”
It is unknown who Friedman will play in the sequel.
