Head of Naughty Dog and The last of us co-creator of the series Neil Druckmann recently something opened about the upcoming second season. He said fans of the game will be very happy with the next season, with a new background story they have planned for an important character.

During an interview with Variety, Druckman said, “And there are things in this season that I’m really excited about – things that we’ve hinted at – I can think of one scene in particular that I think fans of the game are going to devour, because it’s it kind of tells you so much about this important character’s backstory that there wasn’t even a way for us to do that in the game.

He doesn’t offer any other details, so it will be interesting to watch this new season and see how the story unfolds and see what new backstory he’s talking about.
