Netflix has announced that Joe Manganiello has joined the cast of the live-action A piece series and will play the role of Mr. 0, also known as the “King of the Desert” Sir Crocodile.
Manganiello is perfect for this role and will be awesome as this character! One Piece is currently in the middle of production on season 2 and things are still shaping up as they are trying to introduce more of the mysterious Baroque Works organization in the new season.
Manganiello’s Mr. 0 will have a key role in the next season and beyond, so it makes sense that Netflix would want to cast someone like Manganiello in this role, as he could prove to be a formidable foe for Luffy and the Straw Hat Crew.
Mr. 0, also known as Sir Crocodile, is a former sea warlord and the main antagonist of the Alabasta arc in A piece. He is the leader of the secret criminal organization Baroque Works and operates under the alias “Mr. 0”. His goal is to conquer the desert kingdom of Alabasta by instigating a civil war and taking control of its ancient weapon, Pluton.
Crocodile possesses the powers of the Suna Suna no Mi, a Logia-type Devil Fruit that allows him to manipulate and transform into sand. Crocodile is ruthless and known for his cold, strategic mind and lack of compassion, seeking power at all costs.
In the series, “Monkey D. Luffy is a young adventurer who has always wanted a life of freedom. Luffy sets out from his small village on a dangerous journey to find the legendary treasure, One Piece, to become the Pirate King!
