YELLOWSTONE star Kelly Reilly confirms season 6 is in the works, but that it ‘will be a little different’

Yellow stone star Kelly Reillywho plays Beth Dutton in the series, has confirmed rumors that a sixth season of the series is in talks.

The news of the continuation of the show came first from Cole Hauserwho said: “I know there are some things on the horizon as far as Taylor’s ideas for Kelly Reilly, for myself and for some of the other cast members.”

The series could very well focus more on Beth and Rip. Reilly recently spoke to EW about the possibility of the series continuing, saying, “There’s potentially another chapter. That’s being talked about now.”

She continued to elaborate on that, and how, if it does happen, it will be a little different. She explained, “Nothing is set in stone. But if Taylor wants to write it, I want to write it, too. That’s it. Because he wrote every single line I’ve ever said. She was born out of his imagination.

“But we both agree that there’s a change that needs to happen. Because you can’t keep telling the same story. This story is ending. Yellowstone as we know it is ending, but if there’s more story to tell with some of the characters, it’s going to be a little different.”

I hope we get to see these characters’ stories continue. It sucks that things didn’t work out with Costner and that the original plan for Yellowstone had to be changed, but I’m still excited and curious to see how the story goes.

While Sheridan is working to close Yellow stone Season 5, is also developing the spin-off series The Madison with Michelle Pfeiffer, Matthew Fox, Patrick J. Adams (Clothes) and more.

The series is said to “follow wealthy matriarch Stacy Clyburn and her family as they leave New York City and head to Montana following the tragic deaths of her husband and brother-in-law in a plane crash.”

The Madison is a heartfelt study of grief and human connection that follows a New York City family into the Madison River Valley of central Montana.
