Kelsey GrammerHank McCoy/Beast’s version in the X-Men movies has become a fan-favorite interpretation of the character, and it was awesome to see him appear at the end of the Marvel movie. The Wonders.
He appeared in a post-credits scene featuring Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris) ending up in a new universe with the Beast and an alternate version of his mother, Maria Rambeau / Binary (Lashana Lynch).
It seemed like this would set up a story that could bring Grammer back in a much larger role as Beast in the MCU, and following the positive response to Grammer’s return, the actor confirms that there have been “some conversations” about his return.
In an interview with CB, Grammer said: “There’s nothing I can talk about. What I do know is that there was some kind of huge explosion when I showed up at the end of The Marvels, I think it was.
“The response has been really almost… it wasn’t unexpected. There would have been some response, but it’s been pretty overwhelming, and so there are some conversations.”
Grammer previously shared: “I hope you can [see him again]. I can say with some certainty that you will. I would love to.”
Grammer went on to say that he was “very happy” with the fan reaction to the cameo, adding, “I’ve always wanted to play him again.
“I see him as an extraordinary character, a real figure of authority and importance in our culture. I’m happy that Beast is back and I hope he comes back in a real way.”
It would be great to see Beast have a major role and a strong story arc in the next story arc involving the X-Men.
