Samuel Goldwyn Films has released the trailer for a crime thriller about gambling titled Dead moneyThe film stars Emile Hirsch as a professional poker hustler who finds himself in a bad situation after a violent robbery during a home game.
In the film, “When a home poker game is robbed by gunmen, professional poker player Andy (Hirsch) and his girlfriend Chloe (India Eisley) finds himself caught in the middle. Now, Andy must play the best poker game of his life at the biggest game in town to save his and Chloe’s lives.
The film also has a fun supporting cast that includes David Keith, Peter Facelli, Jimmy Jean Louiswith Rory Culkin AND Jackie Earle Haley.
Dead Money is directed by Luc Walpoth and will be released in select theaters and on VOD on September 13, 2024.
