While we wait Amy Adamthe black comedy Night Troy upcoming, has just closed a deal to star in and produce a new comedy film titled Lazy Susans, which is set to go into production at 20th Century Studios.
The film is about a group of mothers who form a rock band. The film is inspired by the story of The Lazy Susans, “a real-life group from Boston who came together during the Covid pandemic.”
Annie Mumolo (Bridesmaids) AND Stan Chervin (The art of winning) are writing the script for the film and it will be produced by Vivek Tiwary AND Jack LeslieThey have optioned the rights of the Boston Magazine article “For those moms who are about to let loose.”
This looks like it could be a really fun movie! There is no director in the running at the moment.
