Josh Brolin Turns Down Hal Jordan Role in DC’s LANTERNS Series

Actor He was offered the role of Hal Jordan in DC Studios’ upcoming Green Lantern series. Lanternsbut according to THR, the actor turned down the role.

According to the report, the actor received an offer at the end of August. By the end of last weekend, he made his decision.

It had previously been anticipated in reports that the Lanterns version of Hal Jordan will be a veteran, gray-haired Green Lantern in the series, which takes cues from series like HBO’s True Detective.

It has been previously reported that if Brolin passes up the opportunity to play this character, there are two other big-name actors on the list the studio is considering for the role.

These actors are Matthew McConaugheybut apparently he won’t even accept the role. Then there’s Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi star Ewan McGregorso I guess we’ll have to wait and see what happens with the casting.

The Ozarks Chris Mundy serves as showrunner on the eight-episode series and co-writes with Damon Lindelof(Guardians, Lost) and Eisner Award-winning comic book author King Tom.

Nathan’s sonGuy Gardner, who will make his debut in Gunn’s film Superman reboot, is expected to have a supporting role in the series.
