NECA celebrates one of the funniest horror comedies with The Return of the Living Dead – Trash and Suicide 8” Clothed Figure 2-Pack!
NECA says: “Get your retro fix and celebrate the 1985 horror-comedy film The Return of the Living Dead with this 2-pack of Trash and Suicide dressed action figures!
“Based on the original poster art for the cult film, these 8-inch poseable figures wear tailored fabric outfits, similar to the toy lines that helped define the licensed action figure market in the 1970s.
“These fully articulated figures include a can of spray paint and a tombstone featuring the movie logo. They come in collector-friendly window-box packaging.”
The 2-pack is now available for pre-order at your favorite NECA retailer.
The film follows a group of unlikely characters who face a zombie apocalypse. The story begins when two medical supply warehouse employees, Frank and Freddy, accidentally release a military-grade gas from a canister stored in the facility.
The gas reanimates a corpse and spreads across a nearby cemetery, raising the dead from their graves. Unlike traditional zombies, these undead creatures specifically crave human brains and are fast, nearly indestructible, and capable of speech.
Chaos ensues as Frank, Freddy, their leader Burt and a group of punk rock teenagers struggle to survive the night, but things escalate when the military is forced to intervene.
The film is a perfect mix of dark humor and gruesome horror, which gives it a unique tone, distinguishing it from other zombie films of its era.
Directed by Dan O’Bannon, The Return of the Living Dead It was a fantastic mix of gory imagery, fast pace and irreverent humor.
