Some new images of the director have been shared Roberto Egger’ remake of the iconic 1920s horror classic Nosferatuwhich is sure to be a vampire movie full of atmosphere and thrills.
In this new reinterpretation, Nosferatu tells the disturbing gothic tale of the obsession between a tormented young woman (Lily-Rose Depp) in 19th century Germany and the ancient Transylvanian vampire who haunts it, bringing with him unspeakable horror. Bill Skarsgård plays Nosferatu/Count Orlok in the film.
Speaking about the film, Eggers said: “It’s a scary movie. It’s a horror movie. It’s a gothic horror movie. And I think there hasn’t been an old-school gothic movie that’s really scary in a while. And I think most audiences will find that to be the case.”
Nicholas Hoult He also stars in the film with Willem Dafoe’s World (Spider-Man: No Way Home), Emma Corrin (3rd part), by Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Kraven the Hunter), Simone McBurney (The Evocation 2) AND Ralph Ineson (The Witch).
The film will be released in theaters on December 25, 2024.
