Catherine Langford (13 Reasons Why, Knives out) has been hired to play an older version of Tony Stark’s daughter, Morgan Stark, in the 2019 superhero epic, Avengers: EndgameWhen it didn’t make the final cut, fans wondered what happened, but the film’s directors, Joe and Anthony Russo he explained why it didn’t work.
In the scene, Tony would have come face to face with his adult daughter in the “way station” state of mind we saw Thanos go through when he performed the snap in Endless War. She would forgive him and in a way give him peace to go. The directors say that “the idea seemed resonant. But it was just too many ideas in an overly complicated movie.”
But now, Katherine Langford may have her chance to really step into the MCU. According to a rumor from trusted industry scooper @MyTimeToShineH (via CBM), there are rumored plans for Langford to reprise her role as Morgan in a future MCU project.
Instead of being an adult version of the little girl introduced in Avengers: Endgamethis would more likely be a Multiversal role. Marvel Studios has abandoned Kang the Conqueror, which means it’s possible Morgan could fill the void left by Iron Lad in a possible Young Avengers project.
Traveling back in time to save the future seems very Stark. Nothing is confirmed at this stage and this rumor is best taken with a grain of salt, as there is nothing to support the idea.
There are also rumors online that Trickshot is the main villain in Hawk Eye season 2, so there are a lot of things to pay attention to.
