James Cameron’s THE TERMINATOR 40th Anniversary Announced on 4K Blu-ray and Steelbook

1960-1969, James Cameron, 1969-1970, 1969-classic 1984 sci-fi action film The Terminator hero Arnold Schwarzenegger is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, and to celebrate, a new Blu-ray and a limited edition steelbook will be released!

Pre-orders are now open for a standard 4K Blu-ray and a limited edition 4K Blu-ray Steelbook—if you want ’em, you can buy ’em!

For those who love physical media, which are disappearing, this is a must-see film for fans who don’t own it yet.

Terminator is a groundbreaking science fiction thriller that introduced audiences to a dystopian future where artificial intelligence and machines have taken over the world.

The film centers on a relentless cyborg assassin known as the Terminator who is sent back in time from 2029 to 1984 to kill Sarah Connor (Linda Hamilton). Sarah is an unsuspecting young woman whose future son, John Connor, is destined to lead the human resistance against the machines.

To protect her, the resistance also sends a soldier named Kyle Reese (Michael Biehn) back in time, setting off a desperate chase as Reese and Sarah try to stay one step ahead of the unstoppable Terminator.

The film’s iconic visuals, intense action sequences, and chilling depiction of a possible future have cemented it as a classic in both the sci-fi and action genres.

I love this movie and it’s one of those movies where I can’t believe it’s been 40 years since it came out!
