Uma Thurman (Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill) has joined a catchy-sounding indie action film project titled Ballerina in overdrive.
The film follows “a troupe of female dancers who find themselves fighting for survival as they attempt to escape a remote inn after their bus breaks down on their way to a dance competition.”
Vicky Jews will direct the film from a script by Kate FreundAND Kelly McCormick AND David Leitch (The Fall Guy, Bullet Train) are producing.
The cast also includes Condor Wool, Iris Apatow, Millicent Simmonds, Maddie Ziegler AND AvantikaThe film is currently in production in Budapest.
Thurman is a fantastic actress and it looks like it will be a really fun project for her. ash.
Thurman will also star alongside Richard Gere AND Jacob Elordi In Paul Schrader’S Oh, Canadaand will be released in theaters in December. Thurman will next star in the Netflix film The Old Guard 2 opposite Charlize Theron’s Life which is scheduled for release in 2025.
