Apple TV+ has announced that Ridley Scott’S Napoleon is getting a Director’s Cut and they’ve released a trailer for this version of the film, which is now available to watch on the streaming service.
Scott says the Director’s Cut includes new scenes added and an expanded scope of the epic production. So if you want to give this film another shot and are interested in seeing if the Director’s Cut is better than the original… go for it!
There are 48 minutes of new footage included in the film!
Napoleon stars actress as the French emperor and military leader. “The film is an original and personal look at Napoleon’s origins and his rapid and ruthless rise to emperor, seen through the prism of his gripping and often volatile relationship with his wife and one true love, Josephine, played by Vanessa Kirby.
The film chronicles Napoleon’s famous battles, his tireless ambition and his extraordinary strategic mind, revealing him as an extraordinary military leader and war visionary.
