Universal Pictures has released a behind-the-scenes look at Blumhouse’s upcoming horror thriller Don’t speak badlyExplore the original Danish horror film and the remake, and what was done to retell this chilling story.
James McAvoy explains: “It’s quite a different film. We took the original and pushed it as far as we could.”
In the film, “When an American family is invited to spend the weekend at the idyllic country estate of a charming British family they have befriended on vacation, what begins as a dream vacation soon turns into a twisted psychological nightmare.”
The film is described as an “intense suspense thriller for our modern age” and McVoy is said to give “a gripping performance as the charismatic alpha male landowner whose boundless hospitality masks an unspeakable darkness.”
The film comes from the director James Watkinsand also recites Mackenzie Davis, Scoot McNairyAND Aisling Franciosi.
Universal Pictures to release Don’t speak badly in theaters on September 13, 2024.
