Barry Keoghan (The Banshees of Inisherin AND Burn the salt) has joined the cast of the highly anticipated Netflix series Peaky Blinders movie. It joins Cillian Murphy AND Rebecca Ferguson in the movie.
Tom Harper is directing the film from a script written by the series creator Knight StevenPlot details have not been shared, but Knight at one point stated that the story would be set during World War II.
Knight has spoken about the film in the past, saying, “The movie, I know exactly what it’s about. And I know what two stories it’s going to tell. What happens next, I want it to be up to the movie. As far as we know, someone’s going to show up, I think I know who it’s going to be.”
Keoghan will be a great addition to the cast and will fit easily into that world. We will see him next inTaking them down which will debut at TIFF. She also has the untitled Trey Edward Shults film in which she will star with Weekend and Jenna Ortega.
The actor is also in talks to join Chris Hemsworth AND Mark Ruffalo in Amazon MGM Studios’ adaptation of Don Winslow’s short story Crime 101.
