Trailer for ROSEMARY’S BABY APARTMENT 7A Prequel Movie Starring Julia Garner

Paramount+ has released the first trailer for Apartment 7Awhich serves as a prequel to the director Roman Polanskithe classic horror film from 1968 Rosemary’s BabyIt looks like it’s going to be a good, creepy, and disturbing movie, but not as good as the original.

Julia Garner is the protagonist of the film and the new story is set in the iconic Bramford building in New York City, where the original film is set.

Garner plays a struggling young dancer who suffers a devastating injury and finds herself drawn into dark forces when an unlikely, influential older couple promises her a chance at fame.

The full synopsis reads: “Dancer Terry Gionoffrio dreams of fame and fortune in New York City, but after she suffers a devastating injury, a wealthy older couple welcomes her into their luxury Bramford condominium home.

“When another resident and influential Broadway producer offers her another shot at fame, it seems like all her dreams are finally coming true.

“However, after an evening she can’t quite remember, disturbing circumstances soon lead her to reconsider the sacrifices she’s willing to make for her career, as she realizes that something evil lives not only in Apartment 7A, but in Bramford itself.”

Garner is joined in the film by Dianne Wiest (I’m very interested), Kevin McNally (Pirates of the Caribbean), Dr. Jim Sturgess (Across the Universe), Marli Siu (Everything I Know About Love), Andrea Buchan (All the money in the world), Rosy McEwen (Blue jeans) AND Kobna Holdbrook-Smith (Mr. Wonka).

Apartment 7A is the perfect way to kick off the Halloween season,” said Jeff Grossman, Executive Vice President, Programming, Paramount+. “Director Natalie Erika James and the prodigious creative team have created a chilling and clever new entry in the genre.”

The psychological horror thriller was directed by Natalie Erika James (Relic). This is a Paramount+ Original Film in association with Paramount Pictures and is based on the novel Rosemary’s Baby by Ira Levin.

It is based on a screen story by James Skylar and a screenplay by Natalie Erika James, Christian WhiteAND James Skylar.
