Oscar and Golden Globe nominee and Marvel actress Scarlett Johansson is about to embark on another beloved franchise with the upcoming sequel, Jurassic World 4which is scheduled for release next year.
He had no qualms about declaring his love for the previous films and his enthusiasm to join the next story.
In a recent interview with Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show, he said:
“I’ve been trying to get into the franchise for about 15 years, like, do anything. I mean, I would gladly die right now.”
Demonstrating his level of fandom, he told a story about the greatest gift he ever received:
“You asked me what the best gift I’ve ever received was, and that’s the last time I was on the show. It was pre-Jurassic casting, and I said I got a tent. I asked for a Jurassic Park tent when I was about 7 years old. I put it up in my bedroom that I shared with my sister, and I slept on the floor in it for a year.”
This one is pretty hard to die for! But anyone who was a kid in the 90’s had a love for Jurassic ParkIt was (and still is) a fantastic film and I think it’s great that Johansson was able to fulfill her childhood dreams by joining the franchise.
The new Jurassic World the film is a completely new story, separate from the first Jurassic World trilogy which had as protagonist Chris Pratt AND Bryce Dallas Howard.
All three Jurassic World films have each grossed more than $1 billion at the worldwide box office. Johansson stars in the new film alongside Jonathan Bailey, Manuel Garcia Rulfo, Mahershala Ali, Friend Rupert, Moon Blaise AND David Iacono.
The film is in production in Thailand.
