A new report has emerged that claims Yellow stone will continue with a sixth season and will shift the focus to Beth Dutton (Kelly Reilly) and Rip Wheeler (Cole Hauser). NO, Kevin Costner will not be involved if this turns out to be true.
This rumor gained traction after Hauser and Reilly both hinted in interviews that their characters could very well carry the series forward.
Hauser previously told Country Living: “I’m so focused on finishing Yellow stone the way it must have ended now — well, just the show itself. We’ll see where it takes us.
“But I know there’s some new stuff on the horizon in terms of Taylor’s ideas for Kelly Reilly, for me, and for some of the other cast members.
“I’m excited to see where he goes creatively with this. But right now it’s just: Let’s finish on a high note; let’s do our best.”
Nothing is confirmed yet, but it looks like creator Taylor Sheridan is at least considering continuing Beth and Rip’s story, and it sounds like he has some plans he could potentially move forward with.
While Sheridan is working on wrapping up Yellowstone’s fifth season, he’s also developing the spin-off series The Madison with Michelle Pfeiffer, Matthew Fox, Patrick J. Adams (Clothes) and more.
The series is said to “follow wealthy matriarch Stacy Clyburn and her family as they leave New York City and head to Montana following the tragic deaths of her husband and brother-in-law in a plane crash.”
The Madison is a heartfelt study of grief and human connection that follows a New York City family into the Madison River Valley of central Montana.
I’m curious to know if these series will be connected to each other or if they will be two completely separate stories set in Montana.
