Jenna Ortega has skyrocketed with the projects she has cast/been cast in. From Disney and Jurassic World voiceover projects to a hit Netflix series WednesdayHe also acted in the film Cry film franchise, and is about to star in the long-awaited sequel, Beetle Juice Beetle Juice.
He also has other projects coming up, but just like every actor who has “made it” in Hollywood, Ortega has had auditions that didn’t go the way he wanted.
One of those projects that got away was the director Denis Villeneuve’S DuneIn a new BuzzFeed Interview with Puppy, Ortega explained:
“I auditioned for Dune when I was about fifteen. I remember being a huge fan of that movie and the franchise and everything, and I was really excited about that interview, because Denis is one of my favorite directors. I think it was Chani. I think it was Zendaya… but they didn’t say. It was all very secret.”
It would make sense for Ortega to be a candidate for Zendaya’s role. But Ortega is six years younger than Zendaya, and it makes sense for Zendaya to get the role.
Furthermore, Ortega’s career is off to a great start and has a solid path ahead of him.
