We are all pretty sure that a Spiderman 4 It’s going to happen, but Marvel officials have been tight-lipped about the details. They haven’t even confirmed it, so we’re just waiting for an announcement.
But in the meantime, a new leak from a reliable source claims to know when the secret film will go into production and, perhaps, even its release date.
Second Daniel Ricci (via CBM), production is expected to begin next year and says the film should hit theaters in July 2026, between Avengers: Judgment Day AND Avengers: Secret WarsRichtman believes this is a good indication that Spiderman 4 it will be another Multiverse movie.
There have been conflicting reports about this, but if true, it looks like Sony’s Tom Rothman got what he wanted!
Previous reports claimed that Rothman and Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige had some disagreements over the overall plot, with the latter hoping to pare back the Multiverse elements for a shorter story.
Meanwhile, Rothman is said to want to capitalize No way homethe success of bringing Tobey Maguire AND Andrea Garfield return as their respective versions of Peter Parker.
We’ll just have to wait and see how it all plays out. But if it’s indeed set to go into production next year, we should have some confirmation on the sequel very soon.
