Leavy said in a statement: “Flow is a modernized slasher, made by horror fans for horror fans and we are extremely excited and honored to bring this film to the big screen for audiences to enjoy together.
“We have an incredible cast of genre greats delivering stellar performances, and of course with Damien Leone and Phil Falcone of ‘Terrifier’ heading up the gore effects, we’ve made sure to deliver the best for our incredible fan base, but what we’re most proud of is its story and character development.
“We don’t have any studio support, so getting this release into the hands of our fans is something we’re really excited about! They’ve been coming out in droves for Terrifying 2 and that was so important to its success. So I hope they do that again for ‘Stream’.
“This way we can show studios why independent horror is so important to the genre, paving the way for the creation of new, fresh and original content that we all crave these days.”
The film will be released in theaters on August 21.
