We recently shared a trailer for the crazy and deranged horror film Flowand now we’re finding out that the iconic actor Tim’s Curry returns to the big screen in the movie!
This will be Curry’s first film role since the 2010 comedy Burke and HareOver the years he has worked on many animated projects as a voice actor, and even appeared in Fox’s 2016 television remake of The Rocky Horror Movie Show.
Stream writer and director Michael Leavy said working with Curry was a dream come true for him. He said: “It was a really hard secret to keep and contain our excitement, especially for so long.
“We are so happy and excited to bring Tim back to the movies and the big screen! His charm always shines and radiates in everything he does and we are so honored to have him as part of ‘Stream’!
“He’s someone I personally idolized growing up and it’s one of the highlights of my life to be able to work with him, especially on a project that means so much to me.
“We can’t wait for fans to sit down and enjoy our film in the theater and hopefully with a huge crowd enjoying it together! This is how horror films should be seen and enjoyed. ‘Stream’ is here to entertain!”
It’s really cool that Curry is back for a film project like this. We don’t have any details about his character, but it will be fun to see him in the movies again!
Stream follows “a family trying to survive after their hotel is overrun by assassins competing to be the most creative hitman.”
Leavy previously said: “Flow is a modernized slasher, made by horror fans for horror fans and we are extremely excited and honored to bring this film to the big screen for audiences to enjoy together.
“We have an incredible cast of genre greats delivering stellar performances, and of course with Damien Leone and Phil Falcone of ‘Terrifier’ heading up the gore effects, we’ve made sure to deliver the best for our incredible fan base, but what we’re most proud of is its story and character development.
“We don’t have any studio support, so getting this release into the hands of our fans is something we’re really excited about! They’ve been coming out in droves for Terrifying 2 and that was so important to its success. So I hope they do that again for ‘Stream’.
“This way we can show studios why independent horror is so important to the genre, paving the way for the creation of new, fresh and original content that we all crave these days.”
The stars of the film Dr. David Howard Thorntonwho plays Art the Clown in Terrifying film, as well as Jeffrey’s Combs (Resuscitator), Danielle Harris (Halloween 4) AND Tony Todd (Sweets Man).
Flow will be released in theaters this week, August 21st.
