Director Faith Alvarez’S Alien: Romulus had a strong opening weekend, grossing $108.2 million in its worldwide box office debut.
Alien: Romulus earned $41.5 million domestically in its opening weekend, making it the franchise’s second-best start behind Prometheus, which earned $51 million. The film also earned $66.7 million from 49 international territories.
David A. Grossowho runs film consultancy firm Franchise Entertainment Research, said in a statement: “A major part of AlienSuccess has come abroad.
“Romulus will follow this pattern, but we also expect the overseas numbers to be somewhat off because several horror films are doing less business overseas due to the pandemic.”
Lively Blake’S It ends with us It came in second and grossed a total of $180 million globally after just 10 days of release. Deadpool & Wolverine came in third and grossed a total of $1.14 billion globally.
I’m happy to see Alien: Romulus be a box office success! It was a great sci-fi horror movie and with the success of the movie the franchise can live on and the story can continue with a sequel.
