A really great new piece Deadpool and Wolverine Concept art has been shared online showing scrapped designs for other variations of the film’s big final battle, and it looks like things could have been really crazy!
The art was shared by conceptual artist Rodney Fuentebella and features characters such as Daredevil ((Ben Affleck)Ghost Knight (Nicola’s Cage), Dinopool and other variants.
The image also reveals that the battle took place in the Void and not on Earth-10005.
The artist said of the work: “Here’s an early concept illustration I did for the @marvelstudios Deadpool & Wolverine movie. It was early in the making of the movie, so a lot has changed, but I wanted to show how epic and awesome this movie could be at the time.
“I had a blast creating all the interactions between our heroes and the Deadpool variants. Thanks to @andyparkart for leading this project on the visual development side and all the Marvel Studios peps. Check out @ryan_meinerding_art’s Wolverine concept if you haven’t already. And enjoy!!!”
