Paramount Pictures has released another trailer for Transformers Oneand focuses on the rise of Optimus Prime and Megatron and how they went from brothers to bitter enemies.
The trailer also shows less of the comedic elements of the film and more of the drama and action that we will see in the film.
People who have already seen this movie have loved it, judging by the early reactions. I hope the movie ends up being as good as they say! I go into it with low expectations.
This film tells the “origin story of how the most iconic characters in the Transformers universe, Orion Pax and D-16, went from brothers in arms to sworn enemies, Optimus Prime and Megatron.”
Director Josh Cooley previously teased that the film would have real danger and stakes. He said the film “has the epic scope, adventure and action that we know from the Transformers movies.”
He added: “There’s a lot of danger. There’s real danger in this movie. Yes. And there’s always that, as we said before, that ticking time bomb of when this relationship between Orion and D-16 will collapse.”
The stars of the film Chris Hemsworth like Orion Pax / Optimus Prime, My Friend Brian Tyree Henry like D-16 / Megatron, Scarlett Johansson like Elita-1, and Keegan Michael’s Key like B-127 / Bumblebee.
Transformers One will hit theaters on September 20th.
