IRON FIST will return to the MCU in the animated series EYES OF WAKANDA

During Marvel Animation’s D23 presentation over the weekend, Marvel showed off a clip from its upcoming Eyes of Wakanda spin-off series, which sounds interesting.

The series will consist of four episodes and according to the producer Ryan CooglerThe series will focus on one aspect of the nation of Wakanda… the War Dogs. Just as the Dora Miljae are tasked with protecting the king, the War Dogs are tasked with protecting Wakanda.

The footage introduces a new character named Noni who is described as a “disruptor.” The story will also delve into Wakanda’s history and bring Iron Fist back into the MCU fold.

During the event, the creative team behind the series teased other heroes from “secret cities,” whose names were also titles, and who had a “bright punch.”

It is not known whether this will be Finn JonesDanny Rand version or if it will be a completely new version of Iron Fist from the comics. We’ll just have to wait and see, but the character will be back!

The story of the series is said to follow characters from Wakanda tracking down vibranium artifacts. Speaking about the series, the producer Brad Winderbau said: “We are exploring so many fantastic avenues in the world of animation.

Eyes of Wakandamore than any other show, it fits perfectly into the sacred time continuity of the MCU. [Black Panther director Ryan Coogler] he’s one of the producers, Todd Harris is one of our longtime storyboarders and he’s the director.

“It’s about the history and mythology of Wakanda, and it’s really cool. It looks cool. And it feels like, ‘OK, I’m taking an animated look at the MCU.'”

Jones has previously spoken about the possibility of returning, saying, “I would love to continue playing that character. I think there’s a lot of room for growth. Personally, where I would love to see the character reintroduced would be something like a Heroes for Hire TV series.

“I think it would be the most dynamic and fun way to reintroduce those characters. I loved working with Mike and I loved the on-screen chemistry between Danny and Luke.

“I think that’s a really interesting creative place for the show to be. I would love to reprise that role and continue to advance this character and create the best Iron Fist possible.”

Eyes of Wakanda It is created by Todd Harrisand at the moment there is no air date set for the series, but it was previously announced for 2024.
