Hulu has released a new trailer for Solar Oppositesthat’s coming back for season 5, and as I was watching the trailer, I was like, “Wait… is this it? Solar Opposites?”
The series has mainly focused on the adventures of the alien characters, but in the background another story is developing, known as “The Wall”.
Over the course of the series’ four seasons, there has been a community of little people who have developed their own societies, and season five previews the next chapter in the saga, called “The Yard.”
In this parallel story, Cherie and those who escaped in season four encounter all sorts of new challenges as they begin their new lives in the backyard.
Solar Opposites “focuses on a team of four aliens who are evenly divided on whether Earth is horrible or awesome. Korvo (Stevens) and Yumyulack (Sean Giambrone) see only pollution, gross consumerism and human fragility while Terry (Thomas Middleditch) and Jesse (Mary Mack) I love TV, junk food and funny things.
In season five, “now that alien mission partners Terry and Korvo are married, the entire Solar Opposites team focuses on family values.”
This season sees Dan Stevens taking on the role of Korvo. Solar Opposites It is executive produced by Mike McMahan AND My friend Josh BycelThe series is produced by 20th Television Animation.
Solar Opposites Season 5 will debut on August 12 with all 11 episodes, with a Halloween special coming out later this year.
