Deadpool and Wolverine director My Friend Shawn Levi has now released his film to the general public, in a record-breaking weekend, packed with fans, during which he was able to see his film break mind-boggling numbers and be celebrated at Comic-Con.
But before he could talk about the film’s plot, big surprise cameos, and badass fight scenes, he only had his cast and crew to bounce the finished scenes off of. Luckily, he got one of those moments on video, and now he’s sharing it with the world.
Levy shared a post on Instagram from when she left Hugh Jackman watch the footage of the final fight scene of the film for the first time: it’s simply adorable.
Jackman was given a laptop with the fight sequence queued up for viewing, and when he pressed play, his face simply lit up. He laughs so hard he has a hand over his mouth, and his facial expressions simply seem to convey his sheer joy in making the film, as well as watching it.
