Bleecker Street has released the trailer for a visually stunning new sci-fi film project titled Slingwhich has as protagonists Casey Affleck (Manchester by the Sea, a ghost story) AND Author: Laurence Fishburne (The Matrix Franchise, John Wick).
The film is described as a psychological thriller and the story follows “a trio of elite astronauts aboard a multi-year, possibly compromised mission to Saturn’s moon Titan.
“As the team prepares for a highly dangerous slingshot maneuver that will catapult them to Titan or deep space, it becomes increasingly difficult for an astronaut to maintain a grip on reality.”
It looks like a solid film that will offer an interesting story. It was directed by Mikael Hafstrom (The Rite, 1408, Evil) from a screenplay written by by R. Scott Adams (Donner Pass) AND Nathan Park (Moon, equal).
The rest of the cast includes Emily Beecham (Daphne, Little Joe), Tom Capone (The boys, a week and a day), AND David Morrissey (Walking Dead).
