Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom set to make his first appearance in THE FANTASTIC 4: FIRST STEPS

It seems like fans are still in shock over the news that Robert Downey Jr. has been cast as the MCU’s version of Doctor Doom, as there is still some debate about what that means and how exactly it will work.

While we don’t have any plot details to share, a report has surfaced from film expert Jeff Sneider, who claims to know when Downey Jr.’s Doom will make his MCU debut.

Sneider confirms that the plan is still to have us meet Downey’s Doctor Doom for the first time in the mid/post-credits scene for Fantastic Four: First Steps.

It makes sense to introduce Doctor Doom in The fantastic Four movie since it has a long history in the comics with those characters. Then from there, things will lead to Avengers: Judgment Day AND Avengers: Secret Wars.

The fantastic Four It’s set in the 1960s in an alternate version of New York City. We saw some test footage at Comic-Con and it looks amazing! This movie looks unlike anything Marvel has ever done before and I can’t wait to see how this story unfolds!

The movie stars Peter Pascal (The Last of Us) like Reed Richards, Vanessa Kirby (Mission: Impossible – Discovery of Death) as Sue Storm, known as the Invisible Woman; Joseph Quinn (Stranger things) like Johnny Storm, aka the Human Torch; and Ebony moss – Bachrach (The Punisher, The Bear) as Ben Grimm, aka the Thing.

Paul Walter Houser he was also recently cast in the project in an unknown role, Natasha Lyon, AND Julia Garner (Ozark, Inventing Anna) will play the role of Shalla-Bal, the incarnation of the Silver Surfer. Ralph Ineson will play Galactus.

The script comes from Josh Friedmanwho was called to rewrite the script originally written by Jeff Kaplan AND Ian Springer.

The fantastic Four will hit theaters on July 25, 2025.
