Now that most of us have seen Deadpool and Wolverinewe finally discovered the secrets that have been kept hidden for the last two years. It was a great time at the cinema!
And of course, there were several iterations and ideas that were discarded in the filmmaking process before landing on the final draft and producer. My life is nice sat down with CBM to share just a few of the discarded concepts.
“So many different ideas, they really ran the gamut. I think at one point, we had a very modestly budgeted indie film, a road trip, with him and Dopinder. We had a frame-by-frame remake of Thor 2 with Deadpool up until the first act break. We had a lot of stuff.
“We had the Deadpool deleted scenes extravaganza, where we would show that Deadpool had always been in the MCU: his scenes were just on the cutting room floor. So, those were just some of the crazy ideas.”
I think they ended up with an epic friendship movie with so many beloved characters and cameos that made the movie really special. You saw Deadpool and Wolverine again? Are there any other story lines you would have liked to see explored in the third film?
