Hasbro presents GI Joe: Classified Epic Cobra Rattler Ground Attack Jet HasLab!

Hasbro has announced its latest GI Joe: Ranked Project HasLab and this thing is fucking epic! This is the Cobra Rattler Ground Attack Jet, and it is huge!

From nose to tail, the Cobra Rattler measures 33.53″ (851.78MM) long, over 2 1/2 feet. With the wheels down, it stands 9.88″ (250.9MM) tall with a wingspan of 32.04″ (357.71MM) wide.

The announcement is accompanied by the following description: “The Cobra Airborne is ready for launch, but it needs your help to fund its ultimate feat of aeronautical ingenuity. MARS Industries, in partnership with HasLab, has developed a 6-inch scale GI Joe Classified Series Cobra Rattler Ground Attack Jet.

“To start our takeoff sequence, we need 9,000 backer orders by the end of the campaign. For every HasLab vehicle you pledge, you will receive a Cobra Rattler jet along with a Wild Weasel flight commander action figure with high-quality decoration, detail, and articulation for poseability.”

The Rattler is equipped with a wide array of armament, including 12 removable pylons attached under the wings that feature dogbone connections to customize your jet’s weapons loadout. Choose from:

• 2 Sistrum cluster bombs with visible small bomblets

• 2 x 70mm precision-guided rocket launchers

• 2 AEA-56 Quick Thrust short-range missiles

• 2 x EO-118 Renegade electro-optical missiles

• 2 Thermonuclear bombs

• 2 bomb racks holding a total of 6 PL-MI84 unguided bombs

The handwheel also rotates the muzzle of the forward Kerry CDV-9B “Jawbreaker” cannon, producing a cacophony of 30MM fire.

This crowdfunded project will run from July 25, 2024 to 11:59 p.m. ET on September 9. If successful, the project is expected to begin shipping in fall 2025.
