New Trailer and Poster for TRANSFORMERS ONE – “All for One… and One Shall Fall”

Paramount Pictures has released a new trailer and poster for Transformers Oneand gives us a much better idea of what this film will offer fans. The trailer made its grand debut at Comic-Con

Many fans didn’t like the first trailer, because they were disappointed by the tone and direction the creative team gave it. It seemed like a silly movie made for kids.

Well, there may be more to this movie than meets the eye, as early reactions to the film have been overwhelmingly positive. Everyone who has seen this film has loved it. I have yet to read a negative review!

Speaking earlier about the first trailer, the director Josh Cooley he explained: “The trailer definitely introduces the comedy and shows the fun these characters have together. Which was actually really easy to do. It’s not that we set out to make a comedy, but we set out to make a movie for everyone.”

This new trailer gives us a clearer look at Cooley’s vision for the film and the story, and it’s a much better trailer than the first one, but there are still a few things that bother me. However, after reading the reviews, maybe this film will actually live up to its promises.

The director also explained that the film will feature real dangers. He said: “But there are real stakes that we’re not showing in the trailer yet that have the epic scope, adventure and action that we know from the Transformers movies.”

He added: “There’s a lot of danger. There’s real danger in this movie. Yes. And there’s always that, as we said before, that ticking time bomb of when this relationship between Orion and D-16 will collapse.”

This film tells the “origin story of how the most iconic characters in the Transformers universe, Orion Pax and D-16, went from brothers in arms to sworn enemies, Optimus Prime and Megatron.”

The stars of the film Chris Hemsworth like Orion Pax / Optimus Prime, Brian Tyree Henry like D-16 / Megatron, Scarlett Johansson like Elita-1, and Keegan Michael’s Key like B-127 / Bumblebee.

Producer Lorenzo DiBonaventure previously said: “This is… the origin story of young Megatron and young Optimus. If you know the origin, they started out as friends, and over time things evolved for them and they ended up on two sides.

“So we’re telling the story of young Optimus and young Megatron. We’re really telling the origin story of all the Transformers, both who they started out as, and how they grow up, and how they go their separate ways.”

This will be the first of what Di Bonaventura calls a “natural trilogy” and will explore “Cybertron in a way that you’ve never seen, that no one’s ever seen before.”

Transformers One will hit theaters on September 20.
