Tubi has released the teaser trailer for Wynonna Earp: Revengea film that reunites the cast of Syfy’s fan-favorite Wynonna Earp adaptation.
Wynonna Earp centers on a descendant of the legendary sheriff Wyatt Earp, who sought to rid his hometown of Purgatory of evil spirits. This film will continue that story.
Series showrunner Emily Andras wrote the film’s script and Melanie Scrofano (Wynonna Earp), Tim Rozon (Dr. Holiday), Dom Provost-Chalkley (Waverley Earp), and Katherine Barile (Nicole Haught) reprise all their roles.
Provost-Chalkley said of the streaming film: “There’s definitely some nervousness, but it’s kind of mixed with the ecstasy and excitement of getting to step into Waverly’s shoes again.
“I haven’t been on set since we left, so it’s going to be a serious thing, just to reconnect with that world. But I keep telling myself that if there’s one group I want to do it with, it’s this family.”
There will be a panel for the film at San Diego Comic Con in Hall 6A on Saturday at 1:45 PM. I’m sure a full trailer will be revealed.
Wynonna Earp It is based on the comic book of the same name by Handsome Smith. Wynonna Earp series veteran Paul Barzman directs the film.
