Deadpool and Wolverine It is expected to gross a whopping $370 million during its opening weekend at the box office. Around $170 million is said to be domestic.
Those are crazy numbers, but I’m not surprised. We all knew Deadpool and Wolverine on the big screen together would be a crowd-pleaser! This movie is definitely going to break records.
If that’s the case, Deadpool and Wolverine will be the biggest R-rated opening of all time. Just for comparison, the original Dead Pool has grossed approximately $132 million since its opening.
I’m excited for this movie! I’ve heard so many great things from people who have had the opportunity to see it. I’m personally going to watch it on release night this week while I’m in San Diego for Comic-Con.
Marvel Studios describes their “most significant mistake to date” as follows: “Deadpool and Wolverine. An apathetic Wade Wilson struggles in civilian life.
“His days as the morally flexible mercenary Deadpool are behind him. When his home planet faces an existential threat, Wade must once again don an even more reluctant… reluctant? Very reluctant?
“He has to convince a reluctant Wolverine to – Fuck you. Synopses are so fucking stupid.”
Deadpool and Wolverine will hit theaters on July 26th!
